Headquartered in Missoula, Montana, Blackfoot Telecommunications Group traces its origins to the founding of the Blackfoot Telephone Cooperative in 1954. We have since grown in terms of products, services, coverage, and corporate structure. Today our various organizations deliver state-of-the-art telecommunications to more than 20,000 customers in eight Western Montana and Idaho counties.

Blackfoot provides local and long-distance phone service and also high- speed Internet access to Western Montana residences and businesses. We offer a range of other business products, including phone systems and network design. Since our founding, we've maintained a focus on expert, locally based customer support. Yet we've also kept innovating and now own Western Montana's largest private Voice over IP (VoIP) network, which uses more than 800 miles of fiber cable.

Named after the Blackfoot River, the Cooperative offers services to 22 rural exchanges within a 6,500-square mile, eight-county region in western Montana and Idaho. A non-profit corporation, Blackfoot Telephone Cooperative, Inc. is owned by its customers, each of whom receives a yearly refund in the form of a Capital Credit that is derived from Blackfoot's income and based upon the amount of services purchased.

Blackfoot Communications is a Competitive Local Exchange Company (CLEC) that provides phone service and business communications services to customers in Missoula, Montana and the surrounding metropolitan area.

TeleSphere's industry expertise enables us to address your access billing, CDR processing and revenue assurance needs. Founded in 1998, TeleSphere Software is a wholly owned subsidiary of Blackfoot Telephone Cooperative.
