SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER

Location: Missoula, MT

Blackfoot is seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced Sales Senior Account Manager. Responsibilities include identifying, proposing and selling new voice and data solutions in a converging market while providing sales, service and support for an assigned group of customers. Candidates should have outstanding interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, the aptitude to learn quickly, ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and embrace a technology environment. Base plus commission, plus excellent benefits. Experience:

  • BS/BA with 3+ years of experience in outside sales, preferably in telecommunications or a technology related field, but not required.

MARKETING MANAGER

Location: Missoula, MT

Blackfoot is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and manage the Blackfoot Marketing Team in the development, implementation, and measurement of marketing strategies and activities to meet organizational objectives. IT TECH 2 – WIRELESS

Location: Missoula, MT

We are seeking an IT Tech 2 – Wireless technician for Western Montana. Duties include configuring onsite or remote data network equipment for interconnectivity of network devices, troubleshooting software and hardware problems related to Internet applications, ability to utilize common tools and equipment related to the mounting and alignment of antennas, radio transmission line and related electronics,  etc.  Must be able to climb communication towers (we will train!), be very organized, detail oriented, and a self starter with great IT troubleshooting skills. Position open until filled.

Experience:

  • Ideal candidate has 2+ years of related experience in the installation and repair of wireless, DSL or other broadband services, plus some advanced education or training in these areas.

CENTRAL OFFICE & NETWORK TRANSLATION ENGINEER 

Location: Missoula, MT

We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has great interpersonal skills, loves to learn, and has a positive attitude. This fun and fast paced position will do everything from complex translations and programming of the service network, including voice switches and voice mail systems, to provisioning and testing of Ethernet circuits to overseeing the installation and maintenance of switching, access, transmission equipment, IP based service platforms, and all other types of central office equipment. Position open until filled.

DATA NETWORK ENGINEER

Location: Bozeman, MT

We are seeking a Data Network Engineer for our Bozeman Office – with a possible telecommute option where you can work from home and come to the office a few times a month. We pride ourselves on a positive, team-oriented work environment where creativity is encouraged. The responsibilities of this highly motivated and experienced position include design, installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Blackfoot’s ISP and customers’ data networks. Additional daily tasks include network monitoring, Internet backbone, IP management as well as network support for QoS, DSL, MPLS, VoIP, VPN, BGP, ISIS, special circuits and Level 3 support for Tier 2 Technicians. Position open until filled.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Cisco, Juniper and Adtran routers, switches and firewalls desired.
  • Very strong technical skills and great interpersonal skills.
  • A positive attitude.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.
  • Superior work ethic and the desire to constantly learn and apply new technologies.

Education, Experience and Certifications:

  • Ideal, BS/BA in related field and/or 2-5 years of related experience.
  • Cisco or Juniper career certifications, such as: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCIS are preferred.
