CUSTOMER OVERVIEW

To learn what we can do for you, call us at 406-541-5000 or email us at customerservice@blackfoot.com.
A World of Services
We can put together a plan for any communication situation. Blackfoot Telecommunications Group provides local and long-distance phone service, and also dial-up and high-speed Internet service—for businesses or residences. And every plan comes with free, locally based customer support.
How To Begin Service
To begin service, call our Customer Care Team (refer to Contact Us tab). A Blackfoot Customer Care Consultant will describe all the services available to you, explain the costs, and take your order. However, to initiate your order, your representative will need the information below. Please have these items at hand when you call:

  • Your full legal name.
  • Your physical address, including apartment or suite number.
  • The name of your residence’s previous tenant, name of the closest neighbor with phone service, and landlord’s name and number.
  • Type of service you want:
    • Business
    • Residential
    • Internet
  • How you want your name to appear in the directory and with directory assistance.
  • Your choice of a long-distance provider.
  • Information about your previous telephone service, including telephone number, city and state.
  • Employment and credit information.
  • Business ownership information if applicable.

Cost To Begin Service
A one-time fee is charged to install or change your telephone service. This amount varies depending on the type of work required. Generally, you’re charged for the work required to process your order and to connect or make changes in your service. An advance payment or deposit may be required.
Installation of Jacks and Wiring
If you need inside wiring or jacks, you have three options:
  • Blackfoot can do the work for you based on current applicable charges for time and materials. To get a quote, contact our Customer Sales and Service Department and speak to a representative.
  • You can hire an independent contractor to do the work.
  • You can do the work yourself.
