Broadband from Blackfoot provides always-on connection with a specific IP address. Therefore, it is possible that an unknown or unauthorized person could access your computer. Our modems do have a built in firewall and will provide protection from intrusions. If you choose another Broadband connecting device, we recommend verifying you are protected by a firewall, either built-in or a software system such as Blackfoot Security Center.
