Sandi Tyler, Vice President and one of the owners of Karl Tyler Chevrolet, shared that they've partnered with Blackfoot for more than 25 years and the employees are a key benefit of the relationship.
"I think probably one of the biggest benefits of working with Blackfoot is the people that we get to work with," said Sandi. "I can get questions answered. I can get problems solved. And really anybody I talk to is more than willing to just jump in and help me with whatever I’ve got going on."
For instance, Karl Tyler was experiencing a problem with bandwidth, even though Blackfoot had just increased the car dealership's capacity. Blackfoot technicians monitored the network and found that one of Karl Tyler's employees was streaming videos regularly. As a result, the streaming site was blocked so bandwidth could no longer being captured that way.
For the auto sales industry, business has changed a lot in the last 25 years, "and Blackfoot has been changing right along with us," said Sandi. It used to be that buyers would look at a car in person to determine what brand they wanted to buy. Today, a buyer's research is done mostly online. As a result, Karl Tyler's sales staff has to be able to email, send videos, watch videos and learn about the product in ways that require a lot of bandwidth.
