How to: Monitor your network and access your Blackfoot account when you’re away

Summer is a popular time to get away. And while it’s great to unplug, it’s also comforting to know there are convenient tools for accessing your home network, customer portal or email when you’re on the road.

The Blackfoot Connect mobile app manages the people, places and devices connected to your home network and can be accessed wherever you have an internet connection.

  • Let’s say you’ve left for vacation and you wonder if you’ve remembered to turn down your furnace or air conditioning.
  • With the Blackfoot Connect app and smart thermostat, you can verify settings with just a few taps.
  • Or imagine if you’ve left the kids at home with grandma and you want to see who’s doing what online.
  • It’s easy to check on device usage and site visits just to make sure the kids are playing it straight (you can even set up parental controls ahead of time).
